First Church Year #14: Baptism
Baptisms are some of my favorite services. Yesterday I got to witness three children baptized at my church. The joy of seeing these three publicly confess Christ coupled with the joy of seeing the happiness of their parents was wonderful. Nothing else needs to be said about yesterday’s church services.
How was your church service?

Our service was good. Baptism was one of the things talked about during our service. Next Sunday, there will be a baptism service at our church. It’s wonderful to see life change in motion.
That’s awesome, Jon.
I love our baptisims… when there is someone who is getting baptised…and the pastor says…will the family of so and so please stand up….and NO one stands…He says it one more time…ok…now…will the real family of so and so stand up…THE WHOLE CHURCH STANDS UP AND CLAPS….it’s freaking tear jerkin man…it is…i love it…
I love that Arny!!! We clap after each one. It really is a celebration. And clapping is worship, in my opinion.
It was off the hizzle fo shizzle. I think. Unless those words mean something different than what I think they mean.
Look at you getting out and about in the blogosphere today. Randomly Chad and me.
Baptism is such a beautiful thing. Lives changed forever. So cool!
