Today is Sunday. Most everyone who reads this blog will join together with other believers and followers of Christ in local assemblies to worship today. There is something that I have wanted to tell everyone for some time. Today is probably as good of a time to do so.
I love Chik-Fil-A.
I love their original chicken sandwich.
I love their chicken salad sandwich.
I love the spicy chicken sandwich.
I love their waffle fries. With ketchup. And buffalo dipping sauce.
I love that Truett Cathy created a business that does its best to live out values that glorify Christ. Do they get it right 100%? No. But neither do you or me.
I love that Chik-Fil-A invests in young people
I love that I can get a Chik-Fil-A sandwich any day of the week. I can get one before going to church on Wednesday.
But not today. I cannot get one after church today. That makes me sad.
Which means there is one thing that I don’t love about Chik-Fil-A.
Do you love Chik-Fil-A? What do you love most about them?
Just some random thoughts I had this month.
Can you have true kindness and compassion without Christ?
We Built This City is possibly my least favorite rock song of all time.
Do you remember the show, Alice? I never wanted to kiss Flo’s grits. I prefer to eat grits with salt, pepper and butter for breakfast.
A friend of mine forgot to pray until he was halfway through lunch one day.Does it still count or is it, like, half a prayer?
