If you want to talk to Jenny, all you have to do is call 867-5309.  I’m not sure of the area code to reach Jenny, but Tommy Tutone taught me this number when I was in my early teens.

Rasmussin and Gallup can give you numbers and statistics on just about any subject that you want.  This is an election year, so we are hearing all sorts of numbers from every polling organization that exists.

There is a book in the Bible called Numbers.  You can find out all about the detail of every tribe and sub-tribe in Israel as they moved from Egypt to their Promised Land.

Let’s throw some other number out there to take a look at.

That’s right.

24 hours

7 days per week

365 days per year

This is what we have.  This is what we are allotted each year that we live.

The problem?

We don’t know how many years we have.  We don’t know how many hours and days that we have appointed.

We would love to know what God has ordained for our lives.  We just don’t get to know that information.  He will not write it in the sky for us.  Our lives are a vapor in the grand scheme of things.

So, what should our response be?

We should not waste one minute of it.

Does that mean we skip Halloween or the football game or The Walking Dead?

I’m not suggesting that.

I’m just suggesting that we should count every minute and make every minute count.

Are you making every minute count?
