The 15 Most Important Letters Of Your Day

We all have something in common.  It happens every day.  We wake up and begin our days.  Whether we go to work, school or stay home, our day begins in some say.

There are 15 important letters that make up our days.  We need to pay attention to these and focus on them on a daily basis.  They are broken up into five letters each, so that we don’t have to focus on all 15 at once.

J-E-S-U-S

Jesus said that we should seek the kingdom of God and everything else would be added.  Jesus was talking about so many of the things that we seek and worry about.  Food.  Clothing.  You name it, we seek and worry after it.

We should make Jesus our focus each day, first thing.  Seek Him first.  That’s how we seek God’s kingdom.  By seeking His Son.

We can wait.  We can’t procrastinate.  We need to start.

Need to seek God’s kingdom?  Start.  Don’t put it off.

Need to seek your dreams?  Start.

Need to love more or repair a relationship?  Start.

T-O-D-A-Y

Starting isn’t enough.  We need to start today while it’s still called today.

That relationship with Christ?  Begin today, right now even.

Need to lose weight?  Take the first step today.

Want to run 1,000 miles?  Run one today.

The 15 most important letter of your day lead to three things.  A relationship with God through His Son.  Getting going on what you want to achieve.  Do it today.  Yesterday is gone.  Tomorrow isn’t promised to you.  You only have today.

Which one of these sets of letters do you need to work on?

That post will preach as they say. Today is the set of letters I need to work on, today not tomorrow but today I need to start losing weight. Thanks Larry for the encouragement.

Definitely “Starting” . I’m pretty good at finishing…but the starting is pure torture!

Starting is always tough, no matter what it is. Thanks for coming by.

    All three, really.

Wow, you’re speaking right to me about all kinds of things here recently.

Oh, and I wonder what you would think about the fact that I got a tattoo yesterday, in large part because of the dog pen post.

Well, that’s interesting. I’m not against tattoos, per se. Just against them on me. If they’re tasteful, I’m ok with it.
