45 Things To Do At 45

Tomorrow will be my 45th birthday.  I’ve been wondering for a bit what I would do for my 45th birthday.  Instead of one thing, though, I thought that I would list 45 things I want to do over the next year.  These aren’t goals, resolutions or bucket list items.  Just things I want to do over the next year.  So here goes:

  1. Read 52 books
  2. Read through the Bible
  3. Complete writing out the Gospels by hand
  4. Run 1500 miles
  5. Build an outbuilding
  6. Do 100 continuous pushups
  7. Finish writing my book GOOD
  8. Write my DREAM book
  9. Write a novel
  10. See A Christmas Carol at the Clarence Brown Theater
  11. Go to Bluegrass Underground
  12. Attend a play at the Cumberland County Playhouse
  13. Go to the beach
  14. Run a half-marathon
  15. Reduce debt
  16. Take a short-term mission trip
  17. Birth a small group
  18. Attend Tennessee’s game at Georgia
  19. Take a spiritual retreat
  20. Run the Cades Cove Loop
  21. Hike Mount Leconte
  22. Go to a concert
  23. Hike to Spence Field
  24. Hike to Russell Field
  25. Lose weight
  26. Switch to a self-hosted blog
  27. Begin a monthly email newsletter
  28. Make 4 new friends
  29. Speak in an unusual place
  30. Lower blood pressure
  31. Run Rich Mountain Road
  32. Run a 5k
  33. Run a 10k
  34. Run a 15k
  35. Play golf

    oh man!! that’s amazing. Will push you to the edge and you will get it because you are committed. Enjoy the process and don’t get crazy or frustrated though. It will not help #30 🙂
