Half Year Eve

Today is the last day of June.  For all intents and purposes, the year is half over.  The days are already growing shorter.  Before you know it, most of 2014 will be in the rear view mirror.

I don’t have anything particularly profound to say today.  I’m somewhere around half-way through my life half-way through 2014.  So, the message to you is the same message to myself.

Whoa, we’re half-way there, whoa, whoa we’re livin’ on a prayer

Don’t give up….don’t ever give up. – Jim Valvano

What are you going to do over the next six months?

Got a much-needed vacation planned in July. Prepare for the church’s 10th anniversary in October. Get more involved in the community. Stay close to Jesus. Ride my bike for at least another 1000 miles.

Eat better and exercise more. Basically, buckle down on the goals I set in January, haha.

Any time you can quote Jon Bon Jovi it is a great post. I hope to get some rest on a vacation later this summer and then gear up for the fall.
